Control Room Supervisor

Desolenator is on a mission to bring reliable, sustainable pure water to a thirsty world. As a Control Room Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in helping us achieve our vision. Using solar energy to purify complex water sources into clean water, our approach disrupts the traditional water supply chain with a decentralized, regenerative, ocean-safe, and 100% solar-powered solution. Our first R&D plant in Dubai is up and running, and we need your help to operate it and optimize its performance.

As a Control Room Supervisor, you will:

• Monitor, record and trend readings from the plant control system and steam generating equipment of various models.
• Perform all required plant water chemistry analysis and maintain chemistry control within the plant specified limits.
• Operate the plant in a safe and efficient manner, following all plant procedures, health and safety guidelines, and current operating practices.
• Maintain the control room log book.
• Analyze data, troubleshoot, and diagnose issues.
• Work independently or collaboratively on projects and initiatives that enhance the operations, product water, and reliability of the control center.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• A high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years’ experience as an industrial plant or control room operator in power or chemical plant, hazardous waste incinerator, wastewater treatment facility, petrochemical plant, boiler, utility system.
• Hands-on experience in Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC SCADA Systems.
• Experience in industrial equipment troubleshooting, including field instruments (PT, FT, TT, Control Valves, On-Off Valves, etc.), pumps, compressors, HVAC, and conveyors.
• Hands-on experience operating and maintaining AC/DC inverters, Battery Banks, LV Switchgear Panels, PLC control panels, etc.
• Key life skills, including a valid UAE driving license.
