Internship Control System Modelling

Desolenator uses solar energy to purify complex water sources into clean. This is also a new approach that disrupts the traditional water supply chain: decentralised, regenerative, ocean-safe and 100% solar-powered.

We are constructing our first large-scale pilot plants, based in Dubai and India. We have ambitions to work with corporate, governments and communities to secure clean water in the face of climate change and increasing water stress.

Our team of engineers and inventors is based out of Maastricht, The Netherlands, and we're always looking for other people committed to making a dent in the water crisis.

Having constructed our first pilot plant, we are now scaling up the plant to a larger capacity. The engineering team is working on the design of the larger plant and would like to start developing the control system. To aid this, we would like to develop a Simulink model of the plant to test the control system. We have an internship opening to model the plant on Simulink.


Internship Responsibilities

-         Development& testing of a Simulink model of a solar-powered desalination plant


Intern Requirements:

-         Currently undertaking (or recently finished) a degree in Controls Systems Engineering or similar

-         Previous experience modelling control systems in Simulink

-         A self-starter

-         A desire to tackle the water crisis sustainably
