Internship Engineering

We are working on a challenging and incredibly exciting vision: Bringing reliable sustainable pure water to a thirsty world!

Engineering work is crucial to our achieving this vision.

We are looking for an Engineering Intern to join our team at Desolenator, to build a PVT testing set up, to allow us to test PVT panels inside our lab.

This role provides practical lab experience for students following an engineering course at MBO or University level and will be fixed to a period of 3-6 months. You will be based at our lab in Maastricht, to gain first hand working experience in an R&D lab.

Gain experience and expertise in running a lab and pilot facility.

Your responsibilities

Build a PVT test set-up that can function in the lab and allows us to test the efficiency of our PVT panels

Support team members with developing their ideas and their test protocols.

Supporting the engineering team with equipment preparation and setting up the equipment for experiments.

Adhere to and instill all safety protocols on others.  

Maintain the lab environment and equipment to ensure test and experiment readiness.

Coordinate with the lab manager in many day-to-day activities.

What we are looking for

Student in the following courses: MBO Technicus, Associate Degree Engineering or BS in various Engineering specialties, such as mechanical or electrical engineering

A resourceful and imaginative team player with previous hands-on technical experience who can operate mechanical tools

Someone who enjoys tinkering and improving products, tools and just about anything he or she gets her hands on

A team player who enjoys company and working within a fun and energetic free-thinking team
