R&D work is crucial to our achieving this vision.
We are looking for R&D Technicians to join our team at Desolenator, to test, optimize and further develop Desolenator products.
This role will initially be fixed to one year. You will be based at our lab in Maastricht, but you may at times have the opportunity to work under real world conditions on project locations in Southern Europe, Africa, Asia & the Middle East.

Collaborate with an enthusiastic and mission driven team of engineers in an inventive and resourceful start-up environment
Gain experience and expertise in running a lab and pilot facility.
Develop new R&D projects, creating the testing protocols, deploying the tests in the lab, measuring &recording the results and interpreting these results.
Support team members with developing their ideas and their test protocols.
Supporting the engineering team with equipment preparation and setting up the equipment for experiments.
Adhere to and instill all safety protocols on others.
Maintain the lab environment and equipment to ensure test and experiment readiness..
Collaborate with outside repair personnel to initiate and resolve typical service needs on equipment.
Support the daily lab duty and the quality control of the lab.
Coordinate with the lab manager in many day-to-day activities.
MBO Technicus, Associate Degree or BS in various Engineering specialties, such as mechanical or electrical engineering
A resourceful and imaginative team player with previous hands-on technical experience who can operate mechanical tools, has prior programming experience and is proficient in3D CAD software like Inventor/ Solidworks/ PTC CREO, as well as AutoCAD
Someone who enjoys tinkering and improving products, tools and just about anything he or she gets her hands on
Has experience designing and executing test protocols
A team player who enjoys company and working within a fun and energetic free-thinking team
