🔧 What You’ll Do
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll be the technical face of Desolenator—working with clients to design solutions that are technically robust, economically viable, and environmentally transformative.
- Engage & Consult: Meet with clients to understand their water challenges and guide them toward tailored Desolenator systems.
- Design Solutions: Model and co-develop configurations (e.g. solar thermal, hybrid PV + waste heat integration) to meet unique site requirements.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Translate client needs into technical inputs and collaborate closely with our engineering and project teams.
- Craft Proposals: Prepare client-facing offers with performance simulations, sustainability impact, and CAPEX/OPEX outlines.
- Visit Sites: Conduct site assessments to gather data and validate feasibility.
- Stay Ahead: Keep up with desalination trends, industrial decarbonization efforts, and energy-water nexus innovations.

🎓 What You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering (or related field)
- 3+ years in technical sales, desalination, water treatment, or renewable energy
- Familiarity with thermal processes, solar integration, or waste heat recovery
- Proficiency in Excel, MATLAB, Python, or other modelling tools
- Strong presentation and client engagement skills
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits
